Pursuant to the Decree 6/2024 (28.VI.) of the Cabinet of Ministers, the fees for land registry administration will increase by 60% on average from 29 July 2024.
The increase will affect anyone who buys or sells property, makes a gift or takes out a loan. The new fees also include fees for online and in-person transactions.
However, the good news is that individuals can continue to download the certified title deeds twice a year free of charge, provided as an electronic document.
The fees for the services most commonly used by individuals vary as follows:
E-certified title deed: HUF 3000 → HUF 4800
Change registration: HUF 6600 → HUF 10600
Mortgage registration: HUF 12600 → HUF 20000
