On September 18, 2024, one of the most important professional meetings of the domestic real estate brokerage sector was held, where key players in the market shared the latest market trends, as well as analysts’ expectations for the year 2025.
A key theme was the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation in the profession, including the use of AI technologies in sales. We also gained insights into the latest tools and channels of marketing communication, which are now essential for successful real estate marketing.
In-depth knowledge of these topics is essential to ensure that professionals have up-to-date knowledge and are prepared to respond to dynamic changes in the market.
One of the key topics of the conference was the present and future of the real estate profession, as we, real estate agents, are also facing new challenges. Speakers and participants agreed that those who miss out will be left behind.
In the context of sales and pricing techniques, the importance of expertise to get the purchase price right was highlighted. In the past, it was often the case that the seller would quote a price that the market would eventually catch up with. But now the situation will be different and the knowledge behind it will be needed. But this requires the confidence that the client has in the expert. And trust is based on expertise, combined with other tools: personal branding and marketing.
In the future, the “value added” by real estate agents will be of paramount importance, which goes beyond uploading photos of the property for sale taken with one’s phone to Facebook Marketplace, in addition to the advertising portals. This is not enough because the owner can do it.
Why will this be good? Because it will create a competitive environment that will benefit our clients and us as real estate agents.
